Currently Paul O’Riordan, from Waterford, has returned home. Paul volunteered in our Mission in Lesotho, having finished six months volunteering in City of Hope, Makena, Lusaka.  What generosity!

Linda Costello, from Kerry has returned from the City of Hope, Lusaka and has happily settled in to her new employment.  Linda had just finished her studies in UL.  At our recent meeting Linda was stilled filled with the enthusiasm and love for the place. She said it was the best thing she ever did and the experience will remain with her for years to come.

Mary Quinn from Limerick, has also returned home from volunteering in City of Hope, Lusaka. Again, Mary says it is the best thing she ever did. She got maximum use for her nursing skills as well as being the listening ear for many of their little concerns and problems.
Gerard Bray from Galway is still in the City of Hope and intends to stay on for another year or two.

On 2 September Dympna Clancy, Limerick,  set off for Kasama, in northern Zambia. She volunteered there for three months – in the school there and being a great support for staff, pupils and the Sisters there. She also has now come back to us having sponsored many projects there and will continue to sponsor the education of a few of the pupils who showed interest and potential.

Niamh and Eoin Hogan, from Ardnacrusha, Clare,  have arrived home from their time in Mazabuka, Zambia. Both had a very enriching time and were loved by the children and adults alike.
